Welcome to the Virtual Food Drive of Lauren
Welcome to My Personal Page
Welcome! Thank you for visiting my personal fundraising page. Those of you that have known me for a long time know I was raised with an emphasis on serving others. From a young age my mom put me to work running sucker pulls and raffles at the St. Daniel’s Women’s Club craft shows to raise money for scholarship funds. That legacy of serving others continued through high school and beyond.
I recently joined the Executive Women’s Council of the Northern Illinois Food Bank. I’ve been very blessed and fortunate in my life and had been feeling the call to give back to others. I had noticed many of their advertisements so I started to research Northern Illinois Food Bank and everything clicked into place. As a mother, I was very drawn to their programs to help children and families. I’m lucky to be the mom to two wonderful little boys and it pains me to think that parents and children, our neighbors, across Northern Illinois are struggling with food insecurity.
Please join our team in the fight against hunger in our community!
Our team is hosting a Virtual Food & Fund Drive benefitting Northern Illinois Food Bank and will hope you will shop the aisles of most needed items to make a difference in the lives of thousands of people in northern Illinois who are hungry. For every $1 donated, the Food Bank can provide $8 worth of food to a family in need.
How you can participate?
1. SHOP OUR AISLE of most needed items and “Check Out” to make your donation.
2. Join our team and create a personal page to share with your friends, members of your family, or coworkers.
3. MAKE AN ONLINE DONATION to help our team reach our fundraising goal.
Your contribution is invaluable. On behalf of the 71,000 individuals supported by the Food Bank weekly, THANK YOU!
P.S. If you would prefer to donate by mail, please let us know so we can send you the offline form to include with your check.
