Did you know 1 in 7 people in northern Illinois rely on food provided Northern Illinois Food Bank?
You can help put food on their plates by donating to our community's Virtual Food Drive. “Shop the aisles” of most needed items to make a difference in the lives of thousands of people in northern Illinois who are hungry. The funds we raise together stay right here, in our backyard, and will provide nutritious food like fresh produce, protein, and milk to our hungry neighbors.
Did you know the Food Bank can turn you $1 donated into $8 worth of food?
$20 provides a monthly food box to a senior who is unable to visit a food pantry.
$30 provides $240 worth of food to a family in need.
$60 a month provides a food-filled backpack to feed three children every weekend of the school year.
Support our efforts with a donation that will build hope for a family in our community! You can either make an online financial contribution or drop off food items at my home at 444 Jamestown Ct., which I will bring to the food bank. A collection box will be placed outside my front door for donated food. Every donation makes a difference. Together, we can solve hunger!
